The photo shows a landmark of Bad Schandau – the historic passenger elevator from 1905.
The approx. 50 meters high steel lattice tower connects the valley of the Elbe with higher hiking trails and is until today a popular tourist attraction.
The picture was taken during the “Indian Summer” and gives an impression of the colorful autumn dress of Saxon Switzerland.
