Berlin – Bode Museum / View over the Spree River

Discover Berlin - with inspiring photos and wall art by Alexander Voss

A blue hour skyline of Berlin.

The photo shows a view from the Weidendammer Bridge across the Spree River to the Bode Museum and the TV Tower.
The Bode Museum at the tip of Museum Island was opened in 1904 and houses, among other things, the Sculpture Collection and the Museum of Byzantine Art. It is named after the art historian Wilhelm von Bode (1845-1929), who is considered a co-founder of the modern museum system.
